GP wellbeing in a rural setting (ON-DEMAND: 17mins)

Presentation Description

This fireside chat will share real insights and experiences from two rural GPs on the impact of sustained adverse situations such as drought, bushfires and Coronavirus pandemic on GP wellbeing in rural and remote communities. Participants will learn practical tips and strategies to assist in maintaining GP wellbeing, and, to equip them to recharge and prepare for future adverse events.  

Learning outcomes 
  1. Identify the factors that impact GP wellbeing in a rural setting
  2. Discuss strategies to maintain GP wellbeing in a rural setting
  3. Outline tips to recharge and prepare for future adverse events
  4. Recognise specific wellbeing issues facing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander doctors in a rural setting.
