Presentation Description

The faculty was established in February 2010 and undertakes a range of activities to support the general practice workforce and improve health outcomes, based on the guiding principles of education and training for general practice, innovation and policy for general practice, advocacy and collegiality. One of its key roles is to assists the RACGP to deliver education, training and assessments to GPs in Training and GPs that is culturally responsive and effective in its work in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health. This session will provide GPs in Training with insight into the faculty's role with the RACGP education, training and assessment, and opportunity to meet the following faculty staff: - Manager - Cultural and Education Advisor - Medical Advisor - Censor.
